
El Camino Real Mobility Plan
June 2025 to Present
Client: City of South San Francisco
The City of South San Francisco is planning for improvements to El Camino Real (State Route 82) through the El Camino Real Mobility Plan. Working with the SamTrans Grand Boulevard Initiative, the City aims to make El Camino Real safer for all users and make the streetscape more pleasant for people walking, rolling, biking, and riding public transit.
Winter provides digital and in-person engagement for this project which includes developing and maintaining an interactive project website, creating and disseminating a digital and paper surveys, implementing an in-person workshop, tabling at community events, and engaging students at local high schools. During the first phase of engagement, Winter reached over 500 people through these techniques and coordinated promotions across 15 unique channels including City, community-based organizations, and local groups.
