Borja González Morgado

Borja is passionate about the role transportation plays in shaping communities and helping people connect to the places they call home. Before joining Winter, he led tours across major cities in Europe, creating experiences that connected visitors with local history, heritage, and culture, which sparked his interest in community engagement and transportation planning.

Until early 2026, Borja worked at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, where he led public engagement initiatives and transportation planning projects across northeastern Illinois focused on improving traffic safety, expanding accessibility, and enhancing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. Originally from Madrid, Spain, he holds bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Tourism, a master’s degree in Sustainable Urban Development, and a GIS Certificate from DePaul University. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring cities by bike, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
