Janki Patel

Hello! Meet Janki Patel. Janki grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and a minor in medical anthropology, which inspired her to pursue a career in public health. More recently, she completed her Master of Public Health from Columbia University, where she also engaged with community members in Uptown Manhattan to address food justice issues.

In addition, Janki has over 3 years of experience in public programming at health centers and local government, where she engaged with Bay Area community members through in-person and virtual outreach. With her passion to improve the well-being and quality of life of Bay Area residents, Janki hopes to continue engaging with and empowering communities as she works with them to improve the spaces they live and work in.
